Wade’s the son of Mrs. Joseph Austin Wade of Philadelphia and the late Mr. Wade, and he studied at Yale College after his graduation from Phillips Exter Academy. During World War II, Wade served as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Forces. He is president of J. A. Wade & Co., cotton brokers. |
